Who we are
A Gateway to Revival, Restoration & Glory
Welcome to Gateway Revival Glory Church and Ministries (GRGC&M) — a loving,
Spirit-filled family headquartered at Corner House, Nakasero, Entebbe Road, Kampala,
under the visionary leadership of Pastor Agatha Christine Idusso (“Mama Agatha”).
Since our launch on 17th August 2013, we have witnessed salvation of lost souls,
healings, deliverance, restoration & prosperity — and grown to
the City Church and our branch in Tema (Kikyusa–Tema).
We are a family that shares good and bad moments — a movement that follows the leading of the Spirit,
preaching purity, holiness and righteousness, and embracing all forms of prayer as our pivot.
We did not choose Him, but He chose us (John 15:16–17).

Pastor Gladstone Johnson welcomes a new believer into the waters of baptism — Tema Village, 11 Aug 2026
26 souls baptised in Tema Village! 🙌
The Uplifting Generations Youth Conference brought young people, families and leaders together
under the trees of Tema Village, Kikyusa, and then in Kampala — to pass the faith on to the next
generation, just as Psalm 78:4 commands. Our dear friends Pastors Gladstone & Cheryl Johnson
travelled from the USA as the main celebrants and promoters of the conference, ministering alongside
our Vision Bearer, Pastor Agatha Christine Idusso.
The highlight came on 11th August 2026, when 26 people were baptised in water in Tema Village
and each received a baptism certificate — a new generation publicly declaring that Jesus is Lord.

💧 Clean water for Kikyusa–Tema
“Pastor Cher and I travelled to Uganda to attend a pastors' retreat, and while there we received a divine
assignment to join Pastor Agatha Idusso of Gateway Revival Glory Church in bringing clean water to the
community of Kikyusa–Tema, home to more than 2,000 residents. What began as a retreat became a mission:
the construction of a well and water delivery system that would transform daily life for an entire community —
from the first breaking of ground to the moment of celebration when the tap was finally turned on and clean
water flowed freely. Water is more than a resource. In a community, it is the beginning — the first
stone of a great awakening, and the foundation of the infrastructure, dignity and development yet to come,
by the grace of God.”

A word from our pastor
A Word from the Vision Bearer
“The words of John 15:16–17 are a true summary of how Gateway Revival Glory Church and Ministries came
into existence — we did not choose Him, but He chose us. I bless the Lord for hand-picking me
and helping me to hearken to His call, though at first I couldn't fully understand, like little Samuel.
For a tree to bear fruit it goes through stages — and so did this ministry, through one spiritual
encounter after another. The call of God on one's life is not a one-day event!
It's been God from day one, and it will always be God. To Him belongs the glory, honour and power.”
With love and blessings, Pastor Agatha Christine Idusso
“Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name give glory.” — Psalm 115:1

Our Branches
Two branches, one family — whichever is nearest to you, you belong. Click directions to find us.
Opened in December 2023, this church began under eucalyptus trees and has grown fast, with many coming to Christ. Led by Resident Pastor Zakayo Nsabawulira — a place once bound by sorrow and witchcraft, now full of joy after a historic crusade.
The foundation stone for our church building is laid! Days after the crusade, 3 shrines caught fire on their own. Our Muslim brothers work tightly with us, and we support 15 children in primary school.
“Religion that God accepts is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.” — James 1:27

❤ Flagship Project
The Children's Home in Gayaza
Our beating heart. The church has built a home for teenagers in Gayaza — rescuing,
rehabilitating and housing former street children with meals, clothing, counselling,
schooling and, above all, the love of Jesus. It is lovingly run by caretaker
Mama Mirembe Immaculate, our intercessor, warden and welfare minister.
Shanga Judith is a kenyan national that was picked by a missionary friend, DON FOSTER on his way to Congo in 2021. Don Foster told me(Ps Agatha) that he had for a long me seen shonga in one particular spot in Kasese, naked and eating from a roadside dustbin. He was moved with compassion and on his way to Kampala, He asked the people Kasese town to get her for him and bring her to Kampala, specifically to me.
She had stayed in Kasese for a long time and so everyone had got used to seeing her on streets. Besides, she was only speaking Kiswahili & her mother tongue.
Moved by Jesus Christ’s love, Don Foster brought her and handed over her to me. We did what we could and took her to Butabika Mental hospital, where she was treated from. We visited her occasionally & took with us food, drinks and clothes.
GRGC engaged with the Kenyan High Commission in Kampala over Shanga and out of that effort, the Embassy traced her family in Kenya and informed them about Shanga being in Uganda.
I bless God for Deacon Patricia, Deborah, Mrs Rose Sebandeke, Mrs Moreen Mukholi and Ps. Barnabas, Jonathan Sempijja who did the final work of taking her back to Kenya after a period of more than 6 years when she disappeared from home.

Sumayah’s Story
This young lady came in during a praise & worship session. Her appearance shocked the congregation because she had wrapped herself with polythene bags, as seen in the photos. She sat and later was called upon to be ministered to as an individual.
She came into church during the service dressed in polythene bags. She looked frustrated and confused.
She was later taken to Butabika Mental Hospital for treatment. She was found to be pregnant. She later gave birth and reunited with her family in Mukono.
